Robert took home these Lime Trees last season and has gotten great results.
All citrus tree varieties have a great success rate in the north and northeast U.S. The best way to grow citrus in the north is to keep the tree planted in a container. In the warm months the citrus tree will thrive outdoors. Once the temperatures start to drop below 40F bring the tree inside your home or patio and make sure it can receive at least 8 hours of direct sunlight. If the direct sunlight is not possible you can use growing lights as a supplement.
